I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Mindful Balance & Wellness. I provide evidence-based psychiatric care while incorporating an integrative approach that considers the connection between mental health, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and mood-related concerns. I’m particularly interested in how factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and hormonal changes can impact mental health, and I continue to expand my training in integrative and functional psychiatry to better support my patients.
I take time to listen and understand your full story, not just your symptoms. My goal is to create a personalized plan that helps you feel better, function better, and regain a sense of balance in your life.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and earned my Master’s degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia. I have provided therapeutic services to children, teens, adults, families, and couples. Ten years of experience across various outpatient settings. My interests include communication, boundaries, stress, anxiety, depression, child and parental issues, relationship issues, and personal fulfillment.
My greatest passion in life is helping others to live life to the fullest. For the last 11 years, it has been my privilege to do this in the counseling field. Whether it's helping people find freedom from eating disorders and addictions, the ravaging effects of trauma, or depression and anxiety, my goal is to help others step into the healthiest versions of themselves.
You may be used to being the strong one—the person others rely on—but lately you might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or just not like yourself. You may be dealing with depression, relationship challenges, or a life transition that’s left you feeling stuck. If you’re tired of just getting through the day and want to feel more like yourself again, therapy can help. I work with adults across all life stages who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and major life changes.
I am concerned about the well being of my patients. I let the patient let me know what the goals of therapy are as well as what challenges they are facing.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 35 years in social services, the last 9 as a licensed clinician. My background spans direct practice, public health, domestic violence services, and end-of-life care. I hold a Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Health. My clinical work draws from Gestalt therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches. I also do end-of-life doula work.
My practice, Empowered Transitions Therapy, is built around the belief that transitions don't just require coping strategies. They require honest reflection, real support, and sometimes a complete rethinking of what you want your life to look like going forward.
I work with adults and couples navigating grief and loss, caregiver burnout, life transitions, domestic violence recovery, and relational conflict. I specialize in complicated grief and work with clients whose losses have been layered, unacknowledged, or unresolved for years. Much of my work centers on women who are in the middle of reinventing themselves and aren't sure yet what that looks like.
I'm direct without being cold. I ask hard questions and I sit with you in the answers. If you've been managing everything on your own and you're tired of it, this might be the right place.
