I believe everyone possesses the resilience to navigate life’s toughest moments; we just need the right tools to unlock it. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and athlete, I bring a unique perspective to therapy—one that is eclectic, shame-informed, and deeply client-centered. With nearly a decade of experience, I’m here to help you move past feeling overwhelmed and back into a life of purpose.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a solid background in evidence-based care, combined with genuine compassion and a commitment to helping my patients overcome challenges and improve their quality of life. Over the past eight years, I have worked with children, teens, and adults on various mental health issues. My research experience covers topics like disordered eating, self-esteem, and media influences, which helps me understand how external factors affect mental health. Most importantly, I see therapy as a partnership built on trust, respect, and your unique strengths and experiences.
I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England, along with Master degrees in Clinical Psychology and Media Studies, and a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. My experience includes APA-accredited placements at respected institutions, including the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System. I have also done training in assessments, counseling, and residential treatments for children and families. I currently run a private practice at Inspired Minds Psychological Services PLLC and support Veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs, which is deeply meaningful to me. I am licensed to practice in Florida and Texas.
I have a master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and bring over seven years of experience working primarily with adolescents. My professional background spans a variety of settings, including crisis intervention, outpatient clinics, and residential programs.
With over seven years of experience as a therapist, I have helped clients ranging from children to adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-esteem concerns. May come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the individual needs of each client. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to do it alone. I provide a compassionate, safe, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to navigate life’s challenges, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change. If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to reach out.
I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist with extensive experience working across the behavioral health spectrum. My professional background includes work in youth detention centers, prisons, behavioral health hospitals, group homes, and residential treatment centers (RTCs). These environments shaped my deep respect for resilience and taught me how important safety, trust, and consistency are in the healing process.
My name is Daisy Calderon, and I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor. In my counseling practice, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, behavioral, and family issues.
I have had the pleasure of practicing psychotherapy for more than 15 years helping adolescent and adults in both individual and family therapy. As a minority LBGTQ+ identified therapist, you and I will utilize Cognitive Behavior to explore and examine your thoughts, feelings and behaviors towards more rationally conscious and healthy patterns
