As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a professional background in Child Welfare, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse clients across all stages of life. I am also Spanish-speaking and strive to provide a culturally supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel understood and empowered.
I know how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying pain, uncertainty, or self-doubt. But I believe, as a wise old wizard once said, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” My role is to help you find that light again. I work with Gen Z and Millennial adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more. Through integrative, culturally responsive care, I combine evidence-based psychiatry with holistic strategies to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create a life that aligns with your true self.
My name is Jaskirn Johal-Dhillon, and I am a bilingual mental health therapist who speaks both English and Punjabi. I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fresno. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, attachment challenges in adulthood, and those seeking inner child healing. My work is grounded in the belief that early childhood experiences shape our internal blueprint, yet with increased self-awareness and compassionate therapeutic support, those patterns can be understood, healed, and transformed. I am passionate about working with people from diverse backgrounds and helping them reconnect with their authentic selves so they can lead the life they choose to live.
I create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to heal and share your pain. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I have 18 years of experience (pre-licensure & licensed) working in various crisis facilities, rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics, and telehealth settings, serving a diverse range of teens, adults, and couples. I’m comfortable dealing with people experiencing crisis, addiction, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship problems.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who works with people seeking a deeper, more meaningful relationship with themselves and with life. Many of the clients I support come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Others are navigating major transitions, wrestling with identity questions, or carrying stress from demanding work and high-pressure expectations. Wherever you are, therapy with me is a place to slow down, pay attention, and rediscover the parts of you that want space, clarity, and care.
My approach is relational, somatic, and depth-oriented. I integrate ideas from relational depth psychology, somatic psychology, yoga, and non-dual contemplative traditions. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through presence—listening to the body, the unconscious, and the subtle threads of meaning that shape our inner lives.
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), a program known for integrating Western psychological science with Eastern contemplative practices and ancient earth-based wisdom. My clinical experience spans hospital-based care, community mental health, school settings, and private practice. These environments have allowed me to work with people across different ages, identities, and life situations.
I’ve also completed extensive post-graduate training in the Hakomi Method, a somatic, mindfulness-based therapeutic approach that helps uncover and transform the core patterns at the center of our lives.
If you’re looking for a therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for your inner world, I would be honored to support you.

I believe everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive—with the right support. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and care as we work toward meaningful change. I stay engaged with the latest developments in the mental health field and bring an open, grounded approach to understanding your unique experiences. Therapy with me is collaborative, human, and always centered on your goals.
You should know that I genuinely care about the people I work with. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience. I believe healing happens through safety, connection, and understanding—not pressure or judgment. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of patterns, heal from past experiences, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
I’m warm and real, but I’ll also call you out when I see you getting in your own way. I believe emotions carry important information, and the goal isn’t to get rid of them. It’s to learn how to sit with them and respond in a new way. My background includes community mental health, school settings, PHP, IOP, short-term residential, and long-term transitional care, which has shaped a direct and collaborative style that’s all about helping you do something differently.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that therapy works best when you feel truly heard — not judged. I bring warmth, honesty, and a no-nonsense approach to our work together. My goal is for every client to leave each session feeling a little more understood and a little more equipped than when they walked in. I work with most major insurance plans, so getting quality care shouldn't have to break the bank.
