I began my psychiatric nursing career after graduating from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2009. Several years later, I pursued an advanced practice degree, also at Columbia University, and earned a PhD. I lived in Poland and France before I arrived to the United States at the turn of this century. Given my international experience, I work in three languages: English, French, and Polish. I offer therapy and medication management and the clients and me decide on the best approach.
Howdy! Whether you’re starting your therapy journey for the first time, or looking to continue with a new therapist, I’m glad you’re here. I work virtually with clients based in NY and CA, and work primarily with young adults who are asking the big questions about life: who am I, how did I become who I am, who do I want to be, what kind of life do I want to live?
Mental health acts as a lens that shapes how we see and understand our experiences. When we take good care of it, it can make life's challenges feel less overwhelming, helping us to face them more calmly and confidently. As a therapist, I firmly believe that mental health fosters a resilient mindset that promotes self-compassion, acceptance, optimism and hope. With nearly a decade of experience as a practicing therapist, I have supported clients of all ages, ranging from infants and parents to adolescents and adults. My current focus is on helping young adults navigating the pressures of expectations, feeling disconnected from their voice, or uncertain about their next steps. I provide a space where you can fully be yourself.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of clinical experience. My career has been dedicated to serving marginalized communities and individuals grappling with co-occurring disorders, depression, and anxiety. I am a Big Black Beautiful Bohemian Bougie Buddhist Butch, and I bring that entire authentic self to our work. I believe in talk therapy as a tool for political and personal warfare—an act of self-preservation that allows you to thrive despite societal obstacles.
I work with adults and adolescents seeking compassionate, collaborative care—people who are motivated to grow, curious about understanding themselves, and ready to make meaningful changes. I welcome clients navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
I provide a warm & collaborative space to support you in becoming the best version of yourself. Together we'll clarify your values and create goals that feel right for you, using a holistic, mindful approach that honors your strengths and pace.
I truly enjoy my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Thank Yourself Therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I attended Stuyvesant HS, earned a BFA from RISD, and spent over a decade working in advertising. I later received my MSW from Columbia University and have now been practicing for more than ten years. As a first‐generation, bilingual immigrant who changed careers, I bring both cultural insight and diverse professional experience to my practice.
I am a social worker and a nurse. I use a humanistic and holistic approach to therapy but most importantly I use your strengths as the client to pursue the health that you desire. Within all of us is the desire to be happy and healthy. Life can give us obstacles that keep us from achieving that but together we can find a way to navigate the obstacles and also acquire tools that will help you achieve your own goals. I am so happy you have made this first step.
You've taken a brave step towards self-discovery and growth, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. As a dedicated clinical therapist, I provide a safe and empathetic space where we can work together to navigate challenges and create positive long lasting growth.
I specialize in working with anxiety/stress disorders, depression, and those with difficulty connecting with others around them. Therapy is a collaborative partnership, and I'm here to listen, understand, and guide you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. and a trained in EMDR therapist. I work with individuals, partners, couples, and polycules on a variety of issues related to love, sex and relationships. I believe in the ethos of “helping others help themselves”; as a therapist, this is still my greatest strength as well as the cornerstone that has shaped my practice today. My specializations lie in treating those who are exploring their sex lives, whether it be individually or with a partner(s).
