

I am a bilingual therapist who has worked in the public education system for more than 15 years. I have experience working in several settings such as public schools, non-profits and corporations. I have earned a Master’s degree in Divinity, a Master’s degree in School Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Public School Administration. I have more than 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents to overcome school struggles. I have more than 10 years of experience working with women of all ages. In 2018, I was honored to receive a Congressional Award for my Inclusion work. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance.
I am trained in EMDR therapy and I am available for virtual sessions most afternoons and weekends.

I was twenty-something when life taught me strong relationships are the key to health and well-being. Neuroscience has proven this true and we now know that we are inherently wired for connection on a neurobiological level. Connection isn’t a luxury, it’s essential to our survival. Ironically, it’s connection that can also be the source of our most profound pain and suffering. No matter how deep the hurt or how great the loss, things can shift when we feel seen, heard, and understood by another. We heal in connection with others.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a BA in Psychology and an MA in Professional Counseling, with 13+ years in residential care, crisis work, and private practice. I work especially well with men who want a direct, goal-oriented approach. Focus areas: stress/burnout, anxiety, anger, ADHD patterns, relationship conflict, life transitions, and leadership challenges. Expect straight talk, practical tools, and accountability.
