My name is Michelle Fisher, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating adjustment issues, or struggling with anxiety and/or depression. I have been in this field for 27 years and I thoroughly enjoy helping people to obtain a better quality of life.
I am Alyssa Pammer, M.A., LMHC working as a therapist at New York Psychological Practice. I am in direct coordination with Dr. Virginia Boga, Ph.D. In this practice, we work with anxiety, depression, Autism/ADHD, relationship issues, life stressors, trauma, and more. The bond between therapist and client is essential to the healing process. We can work together to see what works, allowing a unique, individualized approach for everyone. It helps you to be able to process your feelings and obtain realistic skills and coping tools in order to manage and regulate your emotions. You deserve to feel happy and confident!
I have a strong background working with diverse communities of color. I am a 2nd generation Chinese American (colloquially known as an "ABC") born and raised in NYC, fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
I graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After pursuing a career in Human Resources and Professional Development in the private sector, I decided to return to school to continue my education in order to help others. I attended and graduated from Columbia University with a Master degree in Social Work. I bring a wealth of lived, professional, and educational experience to her practice.
Hi, I’m Bushra. I provide therapy for Asian American, Queer, and Muslim clients through an intersectional lens. I have 9 years of experience working with clients who are managing day-to-day anxiety, navigating an unjust society, working through their identity and cultural expectations, and figuring out relationships—whether that’s with family, friends, partners, or themselves. I believe that we’re all human doing our best to move through a complicated world. The choices we make don’t come out of nowhere. They’re shaped by our environments, our histories, families, and the systems we live within.
“Therapy for kids who don’t think it’s for them, parents in the thick of it, and women who are doing everything for everyone—except themselves.”
Sound like you or someone you love? Well...I’ve got you covered!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in preteens and teenagers navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and the complicated space between parents and kids. Much of my experience was built inside a school-based health clinic at the middle school level. Working with students in the middle of their actual world, not just an office. That perspective shapes everything about how I work.
As an elder millennial and a parent, myself, I understand the impossible math of work-life balance. The guilt of feeling stretched too thin and the fear that you’re somehow getting it wrong. You’re not failing your kid. You’re here, and that’s whatmatters.
My approach is warm but direct, grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine connection. I meet kids where they are...not where we think they should be. I work alongside parents as partners, not critics. Because you know your child better than anyone. My job is to help you find each other again.
I also have a passion of working with women of all ages who are navigating careers, life, the world we live in and all of the complexities in between. I provide a judgement free, open space to live your truth and get answers to those questions that keep you up at night.
Does adulting or thinking about the future make you second guess yourself? Having challenges with postpartum or not feeling like yourself? Close to graduating? Going through a transition or struggling with anxiety, overthinking, low self-esteem, life stressors? Let's talk about it!
I hope to help you find your style of adjusting, coping, and healing! This is through a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to process life transitions and stressors.
